SMART Moves: (50 members)
Skills Mastery and Resistance Training is a nationally acclaimed comprehensive prevention program that helps young people to resist alcohol, tobacco and other drug use, as well as premature sexual activity.  The program features engaging, interactive small group activities designed to increase participants' peer support, enhance their life skills, build their resiliency and strengthen their leadership skills.  This year-round program encourages collaborations among Club staff, youth, parents and representatives from other community organizations.  The program's components include: SMART Kids (children ages 6-9), Start SMART (youth ages 10-12), Stay SMART (youth ages 13-15), and SMART Parents (parents of Club members participating in SMART Moves).

The Ultimate Journey: (15 to 20 members)
This internationally recognized, award-winning environmental education program leads Club members (ages 6-12) on a fun filled journey into the beautiful and amazing world of plants and animals.  Through participation in games, crafts and discovery based activities, young people develop an awareness of the environment, acquire a better understanding of how human actions affect nature, reinforce math and science skills and learn about conservation of our natural resources.

Cooking and Nutrition: (12 young women)
We are very lucky to have a cooperative Extension Specialist Miss Daisy to help with this very well-attended Program.  We provide the food, and she provides the planning and implementation.  The menu is always prepared with good nutritional practices and there are a wide variety of foods cooked.  Club members learn safe kitchen practices while waiting for the finished product, a hearty snack.
